People's control over Land and Livelihoods
The earth is a gift to humanity, therefore people's rights to land and livelihood are fundamental.
It is unacceptable that billions of human beings are suffering from hunger, deprivation and lack of dignity resulting from the effect of the current development model.
In response to this situation urgent actions are needed to address local, national and international challenges.
Taking forward the call for justice propounded by Jan Satyagraha 2012 (the forthcoming great Indian march/yatra), a global nonviolent campaign will be organized culminating in October 2012.
will be initiated and coordinated all over the world in order to struggle for justice.
in relation to control over land and livelihoods being faced by vulnerable peoples in both rural and urban communities.
